Between the 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 basketball seasons, the floorboards of Rupp Arena were redesigned and replaced. For the opening of the 2001 season, there was a new design on the court.This wallpaper is a commemoration of the original UK floorboards in Rupp Arena. This represents the appearance of the court for countless victories and championships. It also happens to be the court I saw from the rafters for every UK home game when I was a student in Lexington. I've gotten a bit better with design and software, and there are a few "artistic" touches in place simply to make the wallpaper more attractive. They're "artistic liberties" taken with the actual colors used on the court. And I've added a textured background underneath the primary graphics.
